We have been using this lunchbox for over 2 years now! It's held up better than the one I bought before that cost more than double the cost of this lunchbox. It's been the perfect size for my 1st and 2nd grader's school lunch.

This bento box is a great size for a preschooler or kindergartener’s lunch or snack. My child can open and close it easily without help, and it seals tight—no worries about spills.The compartments work well for keeping wet and dry foods separate. We never used the extra container it came with, it just made packing more complicated.The dip section is pretty tiny and hard for adults to use, but it’s just right for little fingers. It also sturdy. It came in my son’s favorite color too.

Updating my review now that we’ve had it about a year - Up until the past few months this lunchbox was awesome, but the lining of the lid has developed mold that is unfortunately impossible to remove. It seems like moisture gets stuck under the rubber lines and I cannot get it out no matter how hard I scrub. It doesn’t seem to affect the food, but I’m not sure how much longer we will be using this one.Original review 2023: My kid loves to eat a bunch of small things, so this lunchbox works perfectly for that. I usually put fruits or veggies in the smaller compartments on the side, and then use the large space for sandwich or utilize the optional additional tray for other food. It comes apart which makes cleaning more simple. The only drawback is that if you have anything watery, it can spread a bit within the compartments, but my kiddo says it hasn't ruined his lunch yet! This is a really good deal considering a lot of similar lunchboxes out there are very expensive.

We’ve tried several different types and brands of bento boxes prior and are convinced that this one is the clear winner. I was drawn to the fact that it has separate removable compartments to allow for one item to be removed and heated while everything else remains. I was asking myself what is the teacher doing with the blueberries while heating the pasta. Perfect solution here. It also appears durable and well constructed. It’s got a good look to it as well. While it’s a little smaller than I’d like it holds enough for my toddler to take lunch and snacks. The only thing that would make this product better in my opinion would be if it had a compartment for a spoon.

We had purchased this for our kindergartner's lunchbox and found it to be too small to be functional. Each compartment is small and oddly shaped, making it difficult to fit most of his lunch favorites without cutting and smushing. The leakproof seal seems to work well, but makes it challenging for small children to open. This may work well with some foods, but wasn't good for our needs.
