Right out of the box, this thing just works. The lid opens and closes smoothly, keeping ashes and odors contained (because no one wants their car smelling like a neglected casino). The design is deep enough to prevent ash from flying out but not so deep that you’re fumbling around like a raccoon in a trash can. Plus, the wide opening makes it easy to use while driving, no awkward angles or missed drops.One of the best features is the adhesive base, which lets you securely attach it to your door just under the window, your dash, console, or wherever is most convenient. In my opinion, placing it under the window is the best option, it streamlines the whole smoking process and drastically cuts down on flying ash. No more reaching awkwardly or ashing all over yourself. Combined with the well-designed lid, which helps contain both ash and odor, it keeps your car much cleaner and fresher.This isn’t one of those cheap plastic ashtrays that warps the first time you stub out a cigarette. The build feels solid, and it has a nice weight to it without being bulky. The seamless design means no annoying crevices for gunk to get stuck in, and the materials seem resistant to heat and staining.
