You must have the power folding option for this to work. It’s included with GX 460 premium and luxury models i believe. I saw a YouTube video about a similar product and I was really excited to find them on Amazon. The first one I purchased was a different item and it folded the mirrors and also did some stuff with the locks and the windows. The added automation was kind of cool, but it changed the way that I like my doors locked/unlocked and lacked any user configuration so I ended up not being able to use that one. This one however is perfect. Simply plugged into my ODB2 port and my mirrors fold in when the doors are locked (using central locking from remote, keyless door handle or inside button near window switch) and out when the doors are unlocked or car is on. Added benefit is excellent way to tell if your doors are locked without having to use your remote to flash lights. Tip-if you don’t want your mirrors to fold in while you’re in the vehicle and the car is off just lock the door manually and not with the auto lock button and they’ll stay out. Honestly, the vehicle should’ve come with the auto feature from the factory (like my BMW) but since it didn’t, this is a nice cheap easy fix. It’s been 100% reliable no surprises. Buy it I guarantee you’ll like it.
