You simply note the highest temperature your engine reaches during normal driving, then set the audible alarm to go off at a few degrees higher. This controller can be set to alarm at any temperature from -30 to 300 degrees C (-22 to 572 Fahrenheit). The controller can also be used to monitor the temperature of Air air-cooled engines, Transmissions, Gearboxes, Transfer Boxes, and Wet Exhausts in fact anything up to 120 degrees Celsius for a professional racing car and It can be fitted by any handyman. The main unit fits under the dash (Compact size - 75 (W) x 86 (H) x 35 (D) mm, plus mounting tabs. The power just connects to 12V DC by wire. The Controller has 2 separate relay outputs (for sensor 1 and sensor 2), and you can connect the outputs to any devices that you need to run when you have emergency overheating and control the extra coolers or fans with your controller. So if your car has two coolers or you installed 2 extra Fans, you can set each output according to your needed controlling options.
