This thing is amazing. Anywhere you place it on your dash it does stay put and hold your phone at the same time. It works better than I expected. It is well-made and seems to hold up great. I would like to have one of these for every car.

Being a Brit I was very happy to see this with the Union Jack flag. Has a great slip proof bottom and takes pride of place on my car's dashboard. Holds all my spare change and sunglasses.

review for: Car Dashboard Cell Phone Holder, Dash Board Cover Mat, Silicone Anti-Slip Pad Mat with Number Plate for Placing Phone Keychains, Car Accessories Interior Universal for Most Carsi took it out of the packaging and placed it on the dash and it promptly slid off. Not a good start, but i persisted: I wiped the dash with a damp cloth (note that its not a flat dash) and also the back of the holder and tried again. This time it stayed. So far, so good.Then i tried to put my phone (with the heavy duty case) in the slots and it did not fit well. the phone leaned forward. So i lifted the holder, right at the notching and partially inserted the phone so it was leaning up (so now there is a tiny gap just beneath the notches). drove all my errands and the phone did not fall out of the holder. Note that the holder did slide a little (down over the vents, but stopped at the ledge above the radio), but for the most part did its job.this thing is not perfect, but it does not have "stickum" on the backside. I can place and remove at any time. The instructions state to wash after use, and based on the dust factor, this is likely a good call or to do so more often than not. i rented a car and the suction cup would not come off, so i've been looking for something that could be temporarily placed in a car. This does the job for the most part.I would caution that the slots are made for the thinner style cases. Regardless, the weight of the phone is what keeps it on the dash. so if you had something else fairly heavy on this holder, it likely will stay better than if you just had the phone. One other note. Keep the box: then you have a place to keep the holder from getting dusty...

we have this in our front window., it holds a bag of charcoal and the I-Pass. it does slip and slide on occasion when you have to brake suddenly or turn a tight turn. it really was a waste of money. i wanted something that would stay where i put it without having to use tape.
