This mat does just what it should - keep objects (like phones) in place while staying in place. We have this on our center console arm rest & it hasn't slipped at all & the top surface has kept our phones & to-go boxes, etc in place. My only issue was that it arrived with a portion of the bling unglued, but with a dab of super glue, it was remedied. The trim looks good in the sun.

An eternal optimist, maybe I got a dud. I've been using sticky pads on my dash for well over 10 years, so I'm not a novice with this. I removed my existing smaller sticky mat and cleaned my dashboard before using, did not use any kind of slippery armor-all kind of cleanser, and put it on thinking it would be like just about EVERY OTHER sticky pad I've ever seen or had. Nope. Didn't stick to the dash one bit. I'm sure I had a weird look on my face, but seriously - what the heck? It did stick a bit on the plastic framing my "infotainment" screen, but that doesn't help me.

This nicely sized dash mat helps keep your items from slipping when setting on dash. The backside holds well on a vinyl hard surface, and the size is generous. I like that the sparkling rhinestone accents were set lower then the edges, so they should be protected from being knocked off. I did deduct one star because the item was missing a rhinestone and it is quite noticeable, and I could not find it in the cellophane shipping wrap, so I must replace on my own. Other then the missing rhinestone, I really like this product, I feel it should hold up well.

Did not work for me in any of my cars. Seems like the surface it goes onto has to be smooth and not textured to stay in place. It stuck nicely to my kitchen counter, I pressed down on it and it was stuck, but not the dash in any car. Since I can’t return it and don’t want to trash it, so using it as a coffee mug coaster at the office. Its good for your keys and phone if you have a dresser you set your stuff on and wish to keep it from getting scratched.Material itself seems good and the instructions do say not to leave it in the heat/direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. So according to manufacturer, it would be an inconvenience, to keep moving it….

I actually got this to use at work instead of my car. My desk is metal and I hate the clanging sound when I set my cups down. I'd been looking for a mat to use but hadn't seen one in a good size til I came across this. It's perfect! Keeps the cups from sliding and helps with condensation too. The sparkle is a cute touch!
