Great except the DRL do not illuminate during daytime when switch is in AUTO position. It should. Also, as others have commented, it’s a bit loose in its socket so some sort of shim or foam tape is needed to secure it.Also, it is very disappointing that there is no way to contact the seller or manufacturer with questions.

So this works as intended in my 2014 VW Jetta. The only issue I have with it is that it's too quick. So going through an underpass or if you pull alongside a truck and the light sensor gets temporarily blocked, the lights will pop on and then off again in a few seconds. This will also occur more frequently when it's dusk or dawn where the light is borderline.The on/off annoys me enough that I've gone back to manually turning it on/off.

When searching for the headlight switch for my car none where correct for my year. I took the switch out of my car and looked at the connector and ordered this one since the connector matched on the pic. Taking the headlight switch out requires no tools and a couple seconds, push on while turning and pull out. Anyway this worked on my 2013 VW Jetta TDI.

I replace a version that has the light sensor on the switch with this one because during twilight it goes on and off and by placing the sensor on the dash this works much better and lights don’t flash during sundown.The only problem I have with this switch is it’s not solid. The dial is loose it feels like it may break on me. I think this design is the best but the quality isn’t that great. If you’re really picky then pick the inferior design but better feel.
