Being on the shorter side, I've always had trouble getting comfy in my car. I took a chance on this cushion set and I'm pretty happy with how it's working out. The headrest isn't really my thing - it pushes my head forward awkwardly, so I've mostly left it off.But the lumbar cushion? Total game-changer. It hits that sweet spot between soft and supportive, working perfectly with my car's built-in lumbar support. I love how it gently contours to my back without feeling like I'm leaning against a brick wall. The fabric is incredibly plush too, which is a nice bonus. My only gripe is that I wish the lumbar cushion had a strap like the headrest does. It tends to slide around a bit, and I'm already worried about keeping it clean since I picked the light gray color. But honestly? Those are pretty minor issues considering how much more comfortable my drives are now.

These are very soft, squishy support pieces, but I like that in this instance because I only need something that fills in the gaps. Car headrests never fit me quite right since I sit short in the seat. This is so nice becaus it squishes into that space behind my neck and keeps the headrest from pushing my head forward with no support to my neck. The lumbar cushion is the same - not heavy duty enough foam to provide rigid support for a seat with no lumbar support already, but it supplements my car's built in lumbar support nicely. For this use, its soft squishiness is an asset, not a deficit. The fabric is very soft too.The headrest has a strap to attach to the top of the seat, the lumber cushion does not. I fully expect to find it tossed in the back seat, likely on the floor, after my husband drives the car since he is tall and doesn't have car seat/headrest fit issues like I do. Glad I got it in a dark color!
