I can't tell you how many times we have tried sleeping while the other one drives, and end up with a sore neck and very uncomfortable "nap". This is a great invention! This adjustable car headrest is made to adjust in so many different ways that you will most assuredly be able to get it to support you head in a way that will allow you to get the best rest you can while riding in a vehicle. It appears to be made of reasonable quality plastic material with very nice cushions and covers for the head to rest on. The ad says that the cover over the cushions cannot be removed, but, I think you can on the ones I got. You can see in the picture where I have unzipped the cover. I didn't take if fully off, but did remove it enough to feel like I could totally remove it for cleaning. It's very comfortable to use and can be adjusted as close to, or as far away from, your head as you want. A great idea, and a great product.

Instructions on the back of the box are confusing. There are some little U shaped clips for... who knows what and its difficult to understand which side is the top and which is the bottom. I was able to put it together, but then once in the car... its too fat for the poles of my headrest to lock into place now. Other than that, it seems good. The paddles on each side that my Granddaughters head would lean against, are soft and comfy and the distance is good because you can move the paddles wider or narrower, AND when youre not using them, they can be pushed up out of the way. However, as it is, I dont think its safe to use since the headrest no longer locks in, so, Ill be looking for another product. This was given to me for free as part of the Amazon Vine program, however free doesnt make it usable, unfortunately :(

Anyone that has ever slept in a car knows the struggle- A pillow slides around or is too far from the window, but without it, your head just lolls around. This thing is the answer. It is so easy to use and install-directions are on the bottom of the box, so don't throw it away! I love how adjustable it is- it fits our minivan easily and has adapters if needed for the headrest. It clicked in place and stayed where I put it, but was still easy to adjust. It took some finagling but was totally worth the effort to get it perfect! It is so much more comfortable to sleep in the car, at least with the passenger seat leaned back slightly. The pillow part seems easy enough to wipe to clean as needed while still being soft enough to sleep on. Such a genius product. Get this for the roadtripping family in your life!

As someone who has had a sleeping disorder and falls asleep riding in the car frequently, I wish I had one of these when I was a kid. I really like how easy it is to adjust and that you can flip the sides up so it can remain on the headrest without being in the way when you don't need it. It's comfortable and I will be getting a lot of use out of it. My only complaint is there aren't any real directions for how to put it together. It comes in 6-7 pieces and a few pictures that I think are supposed to be the directions. The pictures are small and unclear. I played around with it to figure out how to put it together.
