I installed these power lock actuator in my '08 Chevy Cobalt LS that had the manual locks and the install was super easy. I combined it with a remote kit and now I have convenient power locks.These are well made and the instructions are clear if it's your first time doing this kind of project.They fit perfectly in the Cobalt and they function super smooth.

I did not install these parts on a car. Rather, I used them for another project where I needed an electronically controlled actuator. The rod has a fair amount of weight on it; so far it's been 100% reliable.They do draw about 4 amps.
