Installation Recommendations:
We still recommend that you require professional assistance for installation
1. Remove the original cover
If the original roof box already has a cover, it needs to be removed first. Use a plastic pry bar or screwdriver to carefully remove the fixing clips or screws, taking care to protect the roof box surface from scratches.
2. Install the lift mounting bracket
Use screws or special clips to fix the bracket, tighten the screws gradually in diagonal order to avoid deformation caused by over-tightening.
3. Install the cover plate and debugging
Align the cover plate with the lift bracket and gently push it to the snap-in position to ensure a tight fit between the cover plate and the roof box seal.
Operate the lift switch to test whether the cover lifts smoothly, and observe whether there is any jamming or strange noise. If adjustment is needed, loosen the bracket screws to fine-tune the position and re-fix it.
4. Function test and final inspection
Manual Lifter: Test the strength of opening and closing the cover repeatedly to ensure that the damping is moderate and there is no looseness.
