It meshed up well in the sunroof motor. I did notice that unlike the OEM gear, this one does not have a hex type slot for manual operation. It has a straight screw head which does not work well if you try to manually open the sunroof. It worked well for me. Just wished it would have had the same type screw.

Comes with a black wheel not white like pictured. I would have liked a little tighter tolerance on the insert shaft to the gear but still worked as designed. Pulley removal of the smaller rear metal gear is required to replace this larger plastic gear. 2008 mini cooper s sunroof motor. Would buy again if this fails in the future from wear and tear.
