To be honest, I tested these out when I bought them but still haven’t use them yet and it’s been several moths now. Very strong material, I love the quality and it very convenient.its very easy to install and looks great. I just have to much gadgets in my car so right now no room for it. You can use it for more than one thing.

Handy double-duty gadget. Mom likes to ride in back and this is wide enough to hold her large steel water bottle where it's not banging on her knees (the old holder fit on the back-of-seat pocket). Also holds bags by their straps. A keeper!

My new truck had cup holders only in the doors for the back seats so I ordered several sets of cup holders that connect to headrests to try. This is the only one I have found that fits my large Yeti water bottle, my FrostBuddy Universal XL with bumper, and my 50 oz Thicc Buddy and bumper (same size as Stanley and bumper). It is secure and has not had issues, even when the cups were heavy and very full.

I love the idea of this cup holder. the only reason it does not get a 5 is because, for the 1994 lexus es300, the cup hook does not sit flat atop the seat. so, when there isn't something in it, the cup does not stay in one place (it kinda bounces).To install, i tried to slide the hook portion between the headrest and the seat, but because of the angle (the cup needs to be pretty close to the hook so that it will be resting atop and against the seat for stability) between the hook arm and the cup, i needed to lift the headrest (which hasn't been moved for almost 20 years) and i couldn't. I had to ask for help. In writing this, if you tilt the seat back so the installer has a better angle to pull on the headrest, the head rest may move easier.So, now the cup holder is hooked on one of the headrest poles and its tilted up. I pushed the headrest down to the lowest position and it secured the cup holder, but dented the seat under the cupholder arm. So, if you have the headrest up, at least one notch, the cup may bounce a bit unless you put something in it. I haven't yet, since this is my alternate location to use when i do a fast food run and get a beverage. If, for some reason, i find that the weight of a cup or partially filled cup moves around a lot, i will revisit and document the fact (or not).

I didn't really want to order these because of the high price, but I was desperate for a better cup holder for the front seat area of my old minivan. I thought the pictures on this sales page showed the cup holders being used in front of the front passenger seat but now I see they have them installed behind the seat. They could work in the front seat if I only use short cups. Either way I use them though, in front or in back, they wobble too much side to side to be able to feel confident that they'll keep the cup from spilling or falling out. I came up with a solution that makes them usable though, I found a couple of dropper bottle lids that have holes in them, I stacked two on top of each other between the headrest and the hook (see photo), it's not terribly secure but the weight on the hook keeps the cup from tipping too far side to side. I can reach around behind the front passenger seat from the driver seat, so I can put my cup there if I want to except unfortunately the cup is too noisy in the hard plastic cup holder to use while driving. I will use it when I'm parked though to move my cup from the front to the back from the drivers seat which will be convenient. I can't give them a better rating though because without my intervention I would consider them mostly unusable.
