When I first got this, I was confused. Where's the rest of it???That's right, this packs SMALL. I love it! This can have its own place in my SUV and always be there. You never know. If you get stranded, this is the mac daddy way to chill and make the best of it, right? I mean, you have the rain/hail/falling iguana protection of your SUV but you also can open it up for air and not worry about the skeeters. Seriously, this is the way to go. I just need to get one of those SUV mattresses now!Anyway, seriously, this packs small and has everything you need. Full disclosure - I have not actually used this yet. But again, thrilled I got it.I hope you liked my review. I always try really hard to write reviews are are candid, honest, and helpful for your shopping decisions. I absolutely love this Universal car tent awning by TIYURENER!This is an excellent idea for anyone who loves to spend time Outdoors, without having to put up an entire tent or shelter. This packs away Ultra small in the back of my compact SUV, and it takes up almost no space at all!You can sit with this tent extending over your hatch, creating the perfect outdoor space from the comfort of your car.This has become favorite way for my husband and I to watch my kid play soccer in the springtime and during the fall. This could be ultra handy for tailgating as well! We'll have to try it out sometime.This tent is ideal for anyone who likes to camp, this would be great for anyone who sells merchandise or food at festivals and needs extra tent space to keep bugs away. This would also make a great private area at a drive-in movie theater for an exclusive and cozy screening of your favorite summer movie!Overall, this little Universal car tent extender is a fun way to experience the outdoors, and it sets up in a little under 10 minutes.

Car Tent Car Awning Sun Shelter with Mosquito Net,Car Tent for Camping SUV,SUV Tents,Universal Car Rear Tent，Car Tailgate TentI have a teardrop camper with a hatch that opens in the back for access to the kitchen. I enjoy cooking outdoors, but occasionally we encounter bugs that could make that a challenge. I got this as a solution for when we get in those situations.Because the camper is in storage, I had to use my car to test how this sets up and functions.The most difficult part of the setup was getting the thing up over the hatch. I am short and I cannot reach to lift it up and over. I was able to get the hatch to lower without closing and then I could put it on easily. Bungee cording is provided for the spots where you attach the tent to the car. For my test I did not use them as the tarp stayed on the hatch on it's own. I did use some bungee cords I had to secure the lower section to the rear tires. They way this all fits together and the extra netting keeps the opening bug tight around the car. AS a caution, you will not be able to run your vehicle with this in place as the tent wraps around the entire back end of the car and contacts the tail pipe. You will catch it on fire if you run your vehicle with this on.The rest of the tent goes up with two poles and two tie downs off of each pole. There are then extra stakes to secure the bottom of the netting to the ground. Secure the doorways first to ensure they are taught so the zipper operates smoothly. It is a nice zipper and travels nicely when the door is secured properly.You also have the option to roll up the netting and secure them to the tarp section for an open air shade tarp.Inside the tent is room and has space for two chairs and a small table.

This is a handy bit of gear to have in your SUV... it packs up super small and does add a nice little shelter area out the back. The kids like sitting in the back of the SUV with us on chairs outside.As for the tent itself... over all design is pretty good. It's nothing fancy, made primarily of netting with a bit of fabric top and the areas of elastic for securing to the vehicle. It's not what I would call heavy duty but suitable for occasional use. The part that faces your vehicle is attached with some elastic towards the bottom but ultimately tied off to the wheels. I kinda would have liked to have seen a plastic hook or something for ease of use but having spent many years in the scouts I suppose tying a few knots isn't a big deal. You WILL be tying quite a few to set this up since they don't include hooks, etc. The ground pegs work for standard soil but they're useless in anything sandy. Keep that in mind if you're thinking "beach" with this.

Worked well on my Ford Explorer - provides a nice screened porch area when camping in the SUV - very handy and useful. Great quality and utility. Excellent value overall. Recommended!
