This adapter did not work as expected. It connects to the car but fails to recognize and connect with the iPhone. I tried resetting the device and using different cables, but the problems persisted. The adapter could not establish the necessary connections to function.

This device didn’t work as well as we had hoped - it does allow for wireless CarPlay for our iPhone 16 but it was very slow and we weren’t able to get any streaming video output which was the primary use planned for it. For us this was an iPhone 16 pro that was connecting to a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. It was easy to set up but didn’t work as it stated so wasn’t a good value.

I have a 2017 Impala which this is being used in. With this adapter I am unable to use my control knob. All the other buttons work well however I do use the knob while driving. However the more important issue is that it keeps disconnecting. At one point last night it didn't even register that it was connected to my car. Also a weird issue is that I can't make phone calls through the car with this. I have to use speakerphone or raise it to my ear.

I've been using a long USB cable for Android Auto on my 2017 Honda Civic for a long time. This little device will make my daily drives far more convenient. Auto connects when I get in the car, no hassle with my long USB cable that doesn't connect half the time, and is small enough to put out of sight. Saved me a ton of money when compared to upgrading to an aftermarket display.The HDMI feature is nice, although I don't know how often I'll use it personally. I wouldn't drive with it showing videos for safety, but if you have a larger display, it may be nice to watch some YouTube when you are parked.Setup was as simple as connecting the device with the included USB cable and following the instructions on the screen for my car. The only thing that I didn't understand at first: my car automatically detects it as an Apple Car Play device even though I am an Android Auto user. I had to set it up for Car Play, Launch Car Play, then you can access your Android Auto or HDMI from there. So don't be alarmed if you only see Car Play; it is fully compatible with Android Auto as detected by my phone and car head unit.Packaged nice, clean design, easy to use, functions as described.

This device is a great wireless adapter! It let me stream movies from my Fire TV Stick (or supported phone) directly on my car screen and works smoothly with Android Auto (in my case). Setup was quick, video quality is solid, and it's perfect for road trips or long waits. Highly recommend if you want more from your car's infotainment system! One problem is that when the car is shut off, the USB port remains powered, and my phone wants to continue with the Android Auto connection if it's still in range. It also does not work with Pixel phones. A minor issue is that the symbol on my display shows CarPlay and not Android Auto.
