For once the internet was right, against all the forums and posts saying you can't use the adapter to put a 34Pict on a single port manifold for 30/31 pict carbs, I bought one anyway to try..... And yep, due to the offset of the mounting bolts, and design of the single port manifold you wont be able to use it. Even drilling out the adapter and using flush mounted cap bolts, you just can't tighten either the carb or the adapter to the manifold.... but the product works great if you use it as designed !! ie.. 30/31pict carb on a later dual port manifold
