Great concept but could use some adjustments. It would be perfect set for a 6-blade fan or use 2x on a 3-blade fan. Fans in most homes commonly have 4-5 blades. In my home we mostly have 5 blades. You have to put one on each fan blade so the weight is equal on each blade and the fan doesn’t get wobbly. These filters are packaged in a set of 6. What do you do with the 6th filter? Can’t use it by itself. I would have liked to have a couple of weights in the set that match the weight of one filter. That way the customer can have more options, like put filters on 3 blades and the weights on the remaining 2 blades. With that adjustment, the set would cover 2 ceiling fans. I kind of feel like a filter on each blade is overkill when the fan is spinning, and that’s when it would be filtering the air (vs “collecting” dust from sitting). They are thinker than expected. The images on the page made the look flat at flush with the fan blades. But it does make sense that they have a thickness to them vs being totally flush. Because of the thickness they do stand out on lighter color fan blades.

Fit well and adhered to my fan blades easily. I didn’t have any issues with the balance being off and the air feels cleaner.

The quality of these carbon filters is decent, and the adhesive seems reliable so far as well. They’re easy to stick on each fan blade. And after a few days, it looks like they're doing a solid job of filtering dust. Given the price point, they’re definitely worth a try. Depending on your region, you may have to buy these more or less often--but I'd say it's a good investment.

These carbon filters seem to be good quality since they are about 3/8" thick and have a velcro adhesive strip on the bottom of them. However, they are listed as having activated carbon which is not probably activated any more due to the packaging which is a clear unsealed thin plastic bag which was partially opened at the top. All activated carbon products should be in a non-clear foiled tightly sealed bag, not like what this was packed as, therefore 1 star was deducted for that. These filters do have some stiffness to them since they are made with coconut shells but are still very flexible. Based upon the low cost and adhesive velcro strip on the bottom of them I feel these are a good value for others who own ceiling fans.

we don't run the a/c or heater a lot throughout the year, which means our air handler filter doesn't do much in terms of filtering. this helps quite a bit since we use the fan all the time and can barely see these on the top of the blades. for the price i think these are fair, and depending on your need could prove to be worth it.

These carbon sealing fan filters have made a noticeable difference in reducing dust and allergens in my home. They’re easy to attach to the ceiling fan blades, and the six-piece pack is enough to cover my entire fan. The filters do a good job of catching dust and other common household contaminants, helping to keep the air cleaner without any extra noise or effort. One thing to note is that the filters can make the fan slightly heavier, so it’s important to ensure the blades are balanced properly. Also, while they fit most standard blades, they may need a bit of trimming for a perfect fit on non-standard shapes.Overall, these filters are a great addition for anyone looking to improve indoor air quality. They work as advertised and are a simple yet effective way to keep dust at bay. Four stars only because they could be more universally sized, but otherwise, they do the job well!

When I first saw this my initial reaction was that it was a simple and elegant way to improve inside air quality. Now that it is in hand what stands out is: It’s visible. While they are light weight, they are very nearly ½” thick, and at 10” long where you place them can make a difference in balance and the closer to the hub, the slower the speed of the filter through the air. I did not realize there were so many variables to consider when ordering. The recommendation is to place them as close to the hub as possible. It would be interesting to see if this colleced dust at different density from one end of the filter to the other. Placing them closest to the hub is likely necessary for a couple reasons. 1. Easiest way to ensure they are all placed in the same position on each blade. 2. The adhesive/velcro strip is 1 ¼” wide while the filter material is 3 ½” wide. Meaning the edges along of the length of the material is not stuck to the fan. If you placed it further from the hub, the wind speed would possibly pick up and bend upward the leading edges. I have purchased material like this before for use as a pre-filter for the air intake/uptake of my central heat/air. It was with the understanding that it would be re-usable. I wonder if these could be also? The instructions says that it is important to replace the filters every 1 to 2 months. I have to say that since it is an unknown, how much it can improve the air quality, what is now clear to me, that it will negatively impact the aesthetics, I will not, as a senior, be carrying the ladder, cleaning the blades with a damp cloth and affixing these to the fan. And one last thing just occurred to me, my fan is over a year old and the blades are showing a downward curve from the weight. The solution to this is to turn the blades upside down. If these filters were taped to the blade, hopefully the tape will come off without leaving any adhesive residue. Still giving it 5 stars because it is what I ordered. You might find peace of mind SEEING these on your fan.
