I’m really impressed with this plug-in carbon monoxide detector. Setup was incredibly easy—just plug it into any standard outlet and it starts working right away. It’s more than just a CO detector: the display clearly shows real-time carbon monoxide levels, temperature, and humidity, which is super useful for monitoring indoor air quality. The self-test feature is also reassuring and easy to use. Overall, this device is a great combination of safety, functionality, and convenience. Highly recommended!

Took this on vacation. Easy, just plug it in and forget it.I like the peace of mind knowing I am protected, when staying at hotels, or condos etc...Heard too many horror stories about whole families losing their lives on vacation.Cheap money for the safety.

I live in a typical American 'split-level' and my bedroom is down on the same level as the furnace. I definitely need a CO detector to ensure I'm alerted to a deadly situation that might be caused by something as simple as a chimney/exhaust getting blocked. This alarm was 'brain-dead' easy to install-just plug it in.One feature I really love is that the screen can be flipped 'upside-down' according to your plug. At first I had the unit mounted in the furnace room-since that's where a problem would start. But sleeping at the opposite end of the basement, and having 2 doors between me and the furnace I was afraid I might not hear an alarm while sleeping so I moved it to the hallway at the base of the stairs, and just outside my room. Because of the reversed orientation of the electrical outlet the display was upside-down. A quick couple taps on the buttons and you are able to 'flip' the display to match it's new orientation-NICE! The display is attractive and also displays temp and humidity. Finally, you can set the display to 3 levels of brightness-between 'unobtrusive' and 'acts as a night-light'. The last little thing I appreciate is that the device 'keeps out of the way' of it's 'plug-neighbors' and only takes up the space for it's own plug-It overhangs either up or down into free space.(I can't stand it when a single device's plug takes up 2 or 3 outlets because it overhangs the plugs on either side......)I strongly recommend this unit for anyone who uses a combustion device in their home or shop. I think it's fairly priced and is so super-simple to install and use you're more likely to take it on a trip or vacation to protect yourself from other's CO hazards. It's modern and attractive and can live in the furnace room or in the living space where the people it's protecting are. I think it's much easier to hear the alarm (right outside my bedroom door) and I often use the device to 'double-check' the thermostat settings. (Note: my pictures show the unit in the furnace room and in the living space. The unit is 'inverted' but the display can be reset to be 'right-ways' up.)

Works well. Easy to use and not too big so can be hidden.

PROS: Large display screen, dim levels for display, display rotates 180 degrees for upper or lower receptacle use, attractive appearance, receptacle plug can be switched for other country use (non-US plug not included), includes temperature and humidity measurement for the room, temperature can be displayed as F or C.CONS: The user manual font size is too small. My pet peeve are user manuals with small font sizes in order to save paper. This user manual is for English, French, Chinese (my guess) and German. The manual would be more user friendly with one language on each side of the paper and two papers provided. The unit is nice because most US electrical outlet are approximately 17-inch from the floor so the large display reduces the need to lower oneself in order to read the numbers. I compared the measurement with another dedicated CO sensor and they both read zero. That is a passable measurement, but not a true test of the sensor's sensitivity and capability.

This CO detector is the perfect and most convenient version of one of these types of tools for use with my fireplace. It ensures we still have safe air to breathe and l, at a glance, I can see its levels as opposed to a simple green or red light. I would recommend buying one for each fireplace and outside of each bedroom for maximum safety. The price is good, it's loaded with functionality, and it's definitely high quality. With a plug in features battery life is not an issue. Well designed and easy to use.
