came in with the wrong size ring for my drives haft but was ordered for a gtx limited and was supposed to fit my machine. was able to reuse the old one and the new carbon ring and bellows so not a complete loss.

Flimsy boot, collar does fit over drive shaft, diameter to small, carbon seal lent much longer than original.

My fault for trying to save money over OEM but this kit is a joke, the o-rings and cap will not fit on the drive shaft and the o-rings are a different size so you can't even use them with the old one. The carbon ring is of inferior quality. Whereas the OEM carbon ring cannot be scratched easily with a standard steel pick the carbon ring in this kit is soft and is easily chipped and scratched with same pick. The rubber boot feels very soft and stretchy and I would not trust it on anything other than a remote control toy. I definitely don't trust any component of this kit to seal a 2-in hole in my hull around a rotating drive shaft.Save yourself the time in the hassle and just spend the extra money for OEM. Will be returning.

The rubber boot in this kit looks really good.The carbon seal also appears fine and is an actual graphite part.The stainless collar is subject to the same problem as some others, where the O-ring grooves are too narrow and don’t allow the rings to compress, causing problems with pushing the collar on shaft.Update: The rubber boot is too soft and lets air in causing cavitation. This can be a very tricky problem to diagnose leading to many other parts suspect when the real problem is cavitation and the engine hitting rev limiter. I am sorry to blow the whistle on this one but not sorry either…keep an eye on this problem.
