I guess it's the alcohol they put in gas these days, but trying to clean out the stock carburetor was not working. The cheep Chinese carbs leak and don't last, but buying this carb - hook it up and I have my grand child riding his 50cc right away. Works great

As other reviewers have stated, main jet is totally different, so take the one from your old carb or get a replacement. Worked well for a couple weeks then float froze up and dumped most of my tank onto the ground.. readjusted float and it seems fine now. It’s worth a shot in my opinion considering it costs the same as a knock-off rebuild kit.

We used this carb on a little Honda PW50, worked great, little adjustment for the air and idle but quick to install. The original carb was shot due to the owners leaving gas in it and not using the bike for a few years. I was able to install and used the factory carb slide so no need to undo the throttle cable making it even a easier swap.

I did get this to work with about 10 hours of tinkering. Bought a two year old crf 50 that had never been started. Pilot jet plugged. Took vise grip, removed pilot jet, got it unplugged, bent in half trying to replace. I have had decent luck with cheap parts but not on the 50cc carbs. For starters the needle doesn't have much taper so it's basically all or nothing, and it didn't idle for crap. I do know how to set a carb. I tried my needle with their jet, vice versa, paired as should be, nothing worked worth a damn. I ended up cutting a ring in my factory needle so I could raise it a quarter inch, put in factory jet and completely plugged off the engine side jet. Basically I made it like an oem factory carb. It's not too bad now but for all the time and effort, I would buy the oem instead
