Unless you like origami. Not one of the gaskets fit without cutting them. It took me 30 minutes per carb cutting the gaskets so they would fit.

The only downside to this kit was the description. If you know exactly what you are looking for you can decrypt it. I got one for a 750 CFM and overall I was impressed on the amount of items it comes with. It’s packed with everything you need for a complete carburetor. Fix the description other than that it’s a great kit.

It's got everything needed for rebuilding a carter/edelbrock carb, but remember the quality of the materials are representative of the price point, ant should be noted that this also has the floats included, something normal with kits 4x the price. That said, they seal, though some parts may need persuasion to let all the screws fit, also test before installing to make sure the seals are good.

I have a Edelbrock 1406 carburetor on a 383 sbc. This is definitely not the best kit, but will get you through. The car it's in is a 1936 Chevrolet hot rod. It was a older restoration that I'm starting to redo. I have some metal fabrication and repairs to do. The car set for a while and I'm using this as a temporary carburetor rebuild kit. I know it's going to take me about to years to get the car back on the road with what and how I plan on customizing. The carb was in need of a rebuild so I can move it around easily until I pull the motor and body from the frame. I'm not 100% sure if this kit will work with today's ethanol gasoline and that is really the only reason I would change once it gets back on the road full time.
