  • Regular, thinner cardboard is generally not suitable for cutting with BeaverBot. However, if you use cardboard that is thicker than 3mm, you can press it down, and it will be effectively cut by BeaverBot.

  • The 3mm threshold is intentionally set for child safety. This limit helps prevent small children’s fingers from reaching the machine’s mechanical parts. Although BeaverBot does not use blades, contact with the mechanism can still cause abrasions.

  • BeaverBot is designed for children ages 4 and up. While the core tool is safe and intuitive for young makers, we provide a variety of project kits tailored to different developmental stages.

  • Every unit of BeaverBot is independently tested and certified to meet or exceed international toy safety standards, including CPC, EN71, IC, SOR and ROHS. We use only non-toxic materials to ensure safe play.
