This hit was installed and within a week it was leaking from the output shaft seal. Customer service will not respond to my issue so be weary of this product. If their customer service sees this and will work with me to find a solution I will adjust the review

Looks like a well used 200K mile core return steering box with a rattle can paint job. The housing was covered in big pieces of mud painted over. The sector shaft seal cavity was full of dirt. The input shaft had the old seal. There was movement in the sector shaft bearing that would cause the truck to be all over the road. The mounting threads had damage. When you watch the promotional video they don't even mention replacing the bearings. Draining the fluid out the hose ports it was dirty. No wonder they want you to install an inline filter. This "rebuilt" steering box is a total joke. Don't buy. I'm not risking my family's life to this trash.. A1 Cardone you should be ashamed and sued

1st one came with stripped threads on the return port as well as one of the mounting holes. Ordered a replacement only for that one to have so much slop & wandering in the steering that it is absolutely taxing to drive not to mention the input shaft threads were buggered up making it nearly impossible to get the intermediate shaft on. Just buy a Blue top, Red Top or Borgeson box and be done with it. These aren't worth their weight in salt.

Product arrived well packed, box within a box. Quality of "cool dip" coating was cracking and chipping away, inremedied with engine enamel. Dust seal had to be pushed into the housing all the way. Install was simple and straightforward. Comes with instructions and 2 o-rings.Recommended: Add a pitman arm to cart during purchase to make replacement a breeze without special tools.I have not tested the mechanics of the pump, but if anything less than satisfactory, I will update the review.
