Bought this in the hope of getting the window on my 1993 Toyota Hilux Surf working again. The cog on the old one had eventually detached from the shaft and although the motor still ran it no longer raised the window. There were none available from Toyota and couldn’t find any online. Apparently they eventually fail and any from vehicle dismantles were sold immediately and at silly prices. I’d pretty much given up when I came across this. It’s pretty much indistinguishable from a new one (just the cables don’t have a standard connector on them but it comes with two cable connectors so you can join them easily to whatever wiring system you have) works perfectly and is at a great price. Can’t think of anything negative to add.

Works exactly as described. I replaced the driver's side window motor of my Toyota with this one and now I don't have to open my door to get in and out of the parking lot anymore!

I got this straight from amazon as a scratch and dent for 20.00 bucks, for my rear tailgate on my 1994 Toyota 4Runner.Easy install worked flawless. Can not go wrong for 20.00 bucks.

Ordered the wrong side from one vendor and got a replacement that didn't even work. Used the old motor, which tested ok. Careful with this. Used only Prime or prepare to pay return shipping for the poor quality control.

Fit perfectly and worked like a charm on my 2001 Corolla. Great price, too! I did have trouble with one critical part of the printed installation instructions: the ONLY way I could reinstall the regulator/motor assembly in the door and attach it to the window was by temporarily hooking up the power and the switch (once the regulator/motor was back inside the door) and using the motor to move the regulator into a position where I could install all the bolts in the door, then use the motor to move it again so I could attach the regulator to the window.

I couldn't find a motor specifically for the tailgate window for my 1995 Toyota 4runner. So i took the window apart and this motor looked the same. I installed it, and it works great. No problem with too little power, and even though this is made for the driver side windows, it works great for the tailgate.Would have cost me $250 from the dealership, and $130 from my local parts store. I definitely recommend this motor.
