Works 90% of the time, every once in a while the brake pedal goes all the way down and gets stuck,I have to grab it by hand or both feet and bring it back, really stiff, have to pull it towards me,feels very unsafe.

This was selected per application for my vehicle and was in almost all aspects identical. The only difference, which turned out to be critical, was that the yolk which connects to the brake pedal was an inch short and the opening about a third smaller. Finally I decided to take it to a machine shop and have the yolks swapped and welded. So $35 later I have the actual product I need.

Not sure if it's a Cardone. It was heavily rust pitted and something was rattling around on the inside. I had to take apart to fix a small pin that came out. Also it doesn't come with a adjustable rod that presses against master cylinder, I had to make one using a long bolt

This booster looked like the OEM, but looked better in my opinion. Nice dark steel paint job. I think the dealer went ape with undercoating spray in the bay of the vehicle back in the day when that goofy stuff was popular. IMHO undercoating actually Traps rust after about 15 years, not protects from it. The old booster was black, and the connector wiring above the battery and to the right of the booster had some weird "undercoat" looking material all basted over it. hopefully it's "protected" haha.Anyways this booster works great. It's re-manufactured it says, but seems brand new to me. Do Not forget to replace the vacuum elbow check valve. A new one comes with this and I think was the source of my previous failure. But, I'm glad to have a whole new booster with new innards anyways. You are going to need to buy a new master cylinder to adhere to the warranty though. I suggest the ACDelco one that matches this. Brakes feel great now, stop on a dime! You are going to need some deep 15mm sockets to get the booster off and a "wobbly" attachment and extension. Also be mindful of the rear tail light switch, After the job my rear lights were stuck ON and took me a while to figure out my pedal switch got pushed in a little while I was working. Freaked me out for a good hour. My vehicle is a 1990 Chevrolet G20 5.7L Conversion Mark III Van. Take care!
