This item works great on my 2004 ford expedition xlt.not to bad to install and it comes with a master cylinder replacement washer. Direct fit. Very pleased with my purchase.

Installed this in my 03 Expedition.Install was straight forward.Remove master brake cylinder, coolant overflow, and for a bit of easier access, the air filter housing (I didn’t since one bolt was being stingy)The four bolts by the brake peddle are long so take your time with that and don’t forget ti get the hairpin out from the brake pedal/ brake switch and it’s out.About 2 hours to remove and install the new brake booster using common hand tools.It fixed the annoying hissing and even fixed my AC that used ti go from panel mode to defrost when I accelerated.

Great replacement brake booster. I took the core to the parts house and they sent it off for a refurb, so I got nothing from it, but it didn't wind up in the landfill. Easy to install, just watch out for the EGR valve and make sure it's moved... don't force it.
