We have researched the reasons why original CVs typically fail and designed new solutions to avoid repeat failure. For example, our Neoprene boots are designed with additional bellows, when needed, to resist bellow stress and ozone cracking - the leading cause of boot failure. High-quality grease withstands high-temperature and high-torque demands to ensure long-lasting, reliable performance. Splines are precision rolled to ensure proper fit of CV Drive Axle into the mating hub and transmission, which eliminates installation hassles. Transmission seal diameter is precision-machined after heat treatment to ensure correct surface finish, promoting long seal life. Additionally, all CV Drive Axle shafts are individually verified for straightness, resulting in vibration-free performance at all speeds.

Fits perfectly on a 2006 Nissan Murano SL. Easy to install. No need to bother with removing boots and play with grease for that price.

a completely new axle at a great price.i didn't buy a refurbished because you never know what kind of condition it was in before and how well it was rebuilt (play in the joints) without tearing it apart. Some things i'm fine with rebuilt, but not in an axle, master cylinder, or water pump.now, with that being said, there are some issues with a brand new one as well. namely......for the first 2,000 miles there was a vibration at certain speeds, it wasn't like the car was going to fall apart, but it was noticeable to my wife and she doesn't always pick up on things like that. I attributed the vibration to the new axle wearing in (when i put the axle in it was extremely stiff, i don't mean a little stiff like normal... it was extremely stiff). after about 2,000 miles or so it was perfectly fine..we've had the axle on for about 6,000 miles now and it's smooth as butter. i can live with a little vibration at first.
