After years of not having my back window, I finally ordered a motor. Super cheap and found a great YouTube video to help me install it. Saved me hundreds of dollars!

The motor works but it does not come with wire clip like on the old motor. You have to cut the clip off your old motor and attach it to the wires on the new, which is pretty simple. On my 2001 Toyota Sequoia, one of the screws was very hard to get to.

This worked great for my 2004 sequoia back window. Second time I've fixed and 1st was not as good as this one. Might as well replace handle with a metal one and replace the handle pull cable while your there. Had to pull the cover off that is behind the license plate to get to nuts/screws backside of motor.

It wokrs great; I knew I had to splice the wires, but it only took a couple of minutes. Saved me plenty of $$$ compared to taking my sequoia to the dealer to have the rear hatch window fixed.

The rear window on my 2002 Toyota Sequoia has not worked for a couple of years now (also had the door handle break... very common). Checked on the cost of replacing the motor and it was over $400! So I decided to educate myself with YouTube videos and buy the part (less than $60). The hardest part was getting the interior trim loose from the inside of the truck (since the handle to open the hatch was also broken!). With minimal tools (plastic trim removing tools, screwdrivers, and a ratchet set), I was able to replace the motor in about an hour and saved at least $350. I definitely recommend buying this motor if you (or someone you know) are somewhat mechanically inclined.

Although the motor was the correct part for the repair, the total product received lacked all the pieces necessary for the fix. There was a general purpose connector on the wire bundle but the overall intent was for the wires to be cut and spliced into the vehicle's circuit. At this point, I went to a local auto parts store a purchased their version of the motor kit. This kit contained three separate interconnect assemblies to choose from depending on your vehicle. The motor was identical and the price only 10% more. This items description needs to be a little better regarding the interconnection, or lack thereof. The good thing was the easy return policy with Amazon.
