Was cheaper to buy it here. And I got it in 3 days. Easy to install, 10 min. If taken to a garage to have it installed, would have cost me $100 for 10 min.

Make sure you don't confuse the FRONT wiper motor with the REAR wiper motor....I didn't but I was really careful about getting the right oneI had Midas put it in but I would have attempted it if the weather was warmer and if I had more time

Purchased this replacement rear wiper motor. As well, I bought a new wiper arm pivot nut (Ford/Mazda part 8L8Z-17481-A) from a dealer. However, the nut will not thread on to the arm more than 1/8th of a turn, if that, and I do not want to force it as the post threads are plastic. Obviously, no quality control was performed at the factory as I have inspected the nut and it works on other items with the same thread specs. Why they do not include a nut, that they could actually screw onto the arm before shipping so they know it works, is beyond me. I would gladly pay a few more bucks knowing that I have parts that will work together and not have to drive to a dealer to get a nut only to find out that the motor threads are messed up. Note - I called the 888 number for Cardone that was in with the motor and they told me that the nut I bought from the dealer should work as they have the same thread spec on their remanufactured motor as the OEM motor had.

I was curious as to why my original wiper motor shaft seized up and it was due to insufficient grease . You would be wise to lubricate the wiper shaft even on a new unit.Curiously again I opened the case on the brand new unit and there was only a dab of grease haphazardly put in at the assembly factory so I re greased the entire insides so that it would survive Canada's salt and ice. It would also have been nice to have received the installation nut which usually is corroded upon disassembly.

I bought one and it came broken. One of the hold down tabs were broke off. Sent back. Same thing with the next one. AND the same thing with the 3rd one. I give up. They must think I will just keep it because it would worked with just 2 tabs holding it down. But I refuse to keep a broken part. So the 3rd one went back.

I purchased this item for a 2010 Ford Escape. It installed quickly and functions as expected. I cannot attest to its durability yet, but this item fits as described. Update: Quit working at one year and one month. Not as durable as I would hope for.

The wiper motor arrived quickly and fit perfectly to my ford 2010 Escape. Everything went back together easily and motor worked well once hooked up.
