I am surprised at how thin the strap is. Any thinner and they would have to make it from tissue paper. Next time I will just make it myself. This will not last long in the sun.

The picture show the actual wrapping and the difference between the original long strap and the part cut-off from the new. I am lucky if it lasts a month! also the rivets were missing

Straps worked as described. Learned that best way to install is by drilling angled hole in roller slot and sliding in. Attempted to install as awning manufacturer explained and after much time trying to remove end cap and gain access to slot, was not successful. Ended up drilling angled hole and was done within a few minutes.

This is my third or fourth window awning strap replacement. In my opinion, these pull down straps should all be the same size. That being said, I have 5 window awnings on my 2017 coach. The original installer put the holding bracket in different places so that some awnings are not open all the way and some are open too much. The arms should be perpendicular to the coach wall when the awning is open. Some are angled up and some down, none are straight out. With these cut-to-fit pull-downs, I can make all of my window awnings look like they were installed by a professional. It "does the trick"

The description states 31 inches - this is a window awning pull strap (yes, as per the description), but is only a foot long. Buyer beware.
