New cover for a leaky slide out. It installed easy and works perfect. No more leaks! Don’t forget to order these separately from your awning cover for a new installation. Make sure you measure your flange. They mount on surface not frame/flange so be sure to measure how wide your aluminum flange is to know if you need short or long model. Check internet for instructions. Do yourself a favour and watch a few DIY videos and you will see how easy it is, if you are a handy person!

I love these toppers and it makes life easier with four slides. I did make a mistake when ordering these and they were all to long. I did not hesitate after seeing the build quality and material, so I decided to cut them down and they are now custom fit to my rig. Love the product just please take my advice and follow their directions on measuring them and also be careful when backing in around trees as I will probably need to be ordering a new end cap for on.

Measurement:I ordered this based on their measurements and it was too long! I measured my entire slide out from outside to outside when in reality you need to measure from the flat surface of the slide out and exclude the bezel or trim piece. It's hard to explain but basically the brackets that hold this cover have to be set inside the slide by quite a bit. On my Rv it was about 8" on both sides. I'm a back-yard fabricator so I managed to take apart the non-spring end and cut it down. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS! I managed to get it to work but only because I wasn't paying the freight to send it back.Delivery:The freight company called me before hand and told me I had to be there to accept delivery, nice right? I told them it would have to be after work at 6PM. They basically said No. The guy I spoke to on the phone was rude and couldn't make any guarantees. He told be the truck would be out the next day at 10Am but he would put in a request for late delivery. If I was not available to sign the were going to return it to sender. I told them NOT to deliver until I contacted Amazon. Well that didn't happen, the driver called me the next morning and said he was there and someone would need to sign for it. After I explained what happened he offered to come back at the end of his shift on his own time, nice guy, unlike the dispatch I talked to earlier. I told him not to worry about it and managed to get a neighbor to sign for it. Luckily it wasn't damaged or I would've been screwed.Performance:So this cover was supposed to save me time and effort but it cost me both. My slide out is roughly 155 inches and about 24-28" deep. This cover sags (pools) so much in the center when it rains that I have to run the slide out in to dump the water and back out. I'm going to try and put the pin back in it, take it down, and re-install it in a tighter position or figure out how to tighten it. Hopefully that will help. I will not be buying another.

Quality, price were good. Shipping was phenomenal. Instruction for purchasing correct size were not adequate for determining proper fit. Bought a long and actually needed a short but no way to tell until mounted. This isn't an Amazon issue, but need a database of RV Fit info from the manufacturer. This would be a simple list with 2 columns, a long and a short, that lists RV by year and model. An alternative would be for the manufacturer to include both long and short brackets in the kit. Manufacturing cost for these in quantity couldn't be more than 2 or 3 $.Overall - usable as is.
