Must have for every classroom. BUT… be warned… the Velcro attachment is fantastic so you don’t want to have to lift them up a lot. When do you have to move them, a better knife works well for breaking the seal and have gloves so the Velcro doesn’t hurt your fingers. These are the only dots I’ve ever used in my classroom where students were not able to pull them up while sitting at circle time. I will definitely be buying another set for next year.

These stuck so hard to my rug that it took two of us to pull them off and it pulled/freyed my new rug!! I don’t recommend them unless you plan placing them and leave them!!

One of my fellow teachers recommended these dots to be used on the carpet when kids are seated. It gives them a place to sit, and you can switch around the numbers when needed, depending on who they are sitting next to. I do recommend having the students remove the Velcro dots from the floor for the teacher. I tried to removing them myself and it’s a pretty good grip and I kind of was scraping my fingers a little bit.

This set is both educational and fun, my daughter is into Alphabet and she is into recognition lower and upper case letters. This is a great addition as learning tool. It comes with both lower case and upper case letter. It’s great for color recognition and sorting by colors. We really enjoy that it can also be used on carpet. It’s easy to travel with in the organizer pouch that it comes with. My only complaint is that carpet markers slide from my ruggable, but they are perfectly sticks to my different carpet brands. Highly recommended getting one of these for your preschooler or kindergartener.

I have a standard classroom rug and these did not stick at all. They were all over the place. Gave up on them after a week.

I got it for a teachers carpet but the carpet texture didn't allow for it to stick with the Velcro.. I guess it doesn't work for all school carpets

I was able to donate this to my child's school, and the teacher that received it was incredibly grateful. They really like how strong the velcro is to hold the circles down, as the kids are always running and jumping around. It helps hold it all in place so the kids have consistency in knowing where the letters will be, even if they are out of order.

Needed carpet circles for my classroom. I’ve tried other ones but the students would kick or peel them off so they wouldn’t stay. Easy to place down and for kids to find a spot. Here is my warning these REALLY stick to the carpet. My school isn’t that old so the carpet is nice. I needed to arrange a few I put down to make more room and I could not pull them off. Finally one of my students came to help and we were able to get a piece of the spot off but once I started pulling the carpet was coming up with it. I don’t know how I’m going to get these off now.

I love having spot marker for my kindergarten students as it gives them an assigned place to sit! I usually put the carpet spots all over the carpet in a random pattern, and then assign students to "Find the letter S and sit on it", and this makes it a game for students. It's perfect for letter recognition, and at the same time, I can strategically assign seating so certain individuals do not sit together! These spots have a sort of Velcro latch on the bottom so they grip to the carpet and do not move around while students are sitting on them. A great tool to have in any primary classroom!

I got these alphabet carpet spots for my kindergarten classroom - for the children to sit on for certain activities, but mostly to use with literacy activities such as letter identification, sorting by beginning sound or letter, ordering in alphabetical order and more. They are very useful for this purpose, although yes as others have said, they are a bit small (about 10cm diameter).Overall, they stick very well to the low pile carpet in my classroom, in fact they are quite hard to pull off which is great for activities that I want them to stay put, but not as great for the ones that are student led. The letters are in a nice font that is easy and clear to read and the tops of the letter spots are nice and smooth.My only complaint, which you can see in my attached picture, is that some of the letters are not centred within the circle. This may not be a big deal to some people, but for me, it bothers me, which is why it is 4 stars for me instead of 5. Overall though, a super useful item for early years classrooms that I would recommend!
