I used this pet rake for any rig that had lint on it. Living room, my dog's 'stay' rug, and the bathroom rug. It's also great for re-fluffing a rug.

I'm actually disgusted with how gross my floors still were after vacuuming. This pulled up hair from the 1980s I think. It was a breeze to set up, the instructions are very clear. Only 1 star off because it is very hard on me to use it with fibromyalgia and arthritis, but it really works beautifully when you can use it. Picks up EVERYTHING. Be warned you might feel gross afterwards. No wonder my asthma has been so bad!

Wow, I'm impressed with this carpet rake. I got it to help remove human hair from the carpet that my vac (Dyson) doesn't get. The instructions are pretty easy to understand. The length of the pole is good, and it held up well while using it. It didn't bend or fall apart. I first vacuumed then immediately went over the carpet with the rake. I was amazed at how much hair it picked up! No flaws, dimensions are as stated. I would order this product again.

My carpet is made of FLOR tiles, so a really short/thin looped pile (like a thinner berber style), more like what you would see in an office or retail space. That being said, this didn't do much of anything on my carpet. I have a cat who sheds a decent amount so I was hoping this would pull up what the vaccuum misses. It didn't do much, but I suspect if you have more traditional pile carpet this would be effective. It went together pretty easily but the directions took a few read-thrus to figure out which part was which bc the directions are printed on two sides so you have to keep flipping back and forth to see which piece you are supposed to be working with. A single sheet would be better. Also there are NO directions about how to use this thing, just how to assemble it so I don't even know if I'm using it properly or not. Am I supposed to use quick short strokes or one long pull across the rug? Who knows. I should send this back, might be great for other people but not the right fit for me. I don't want to leave a bad review when it could be user error on my part, so I'm giving this three stars bc I don't really know how to use it but the build qulaity seems good.

**Edit**This thing kinda sucks, lol. Even after repeatedly tightening the pole and pushing the blue end cap down, it still loosens during use, and the end cap falls off all the time. Another star removed.**Old Review**With 3 cats and a hair styling hobby, I needed something that would pick up loose hairs from my carpeting without having to drag out my vacuum.I already own a mini pet hair rake, but since I have worsening back issues, I wanted a larger one that I could use without having to bend over. This carpet rake is about the size of a regular mop-the handle is adjustable so you can extend or retract it to suit your needs. Assembly was fairly easy, but once put together, the rake didn't seem all that sturdy. The "tines" on the business end of this thing are so short I wondered if there was a manufacturing defect-I used to own another full sized carpet rake many years ago that had nice long rubber teeth that dug in and picked up the hair; this one merely rakes it into a pile where you can pick it up and dispose of it.It raked up the hair well, but I still had to bend over and pick it up, which kind of defeated the purpose of a long handled rake.During use, the blue handle also came off-it could've been user error upon assembly, but it doesn't seem to stay put very well.It works for its intended purpose, but there are much better options on the market. Two stars deducted for build quality, efficacy and ease of use.

I had been using a shredding tool for removing dog fur from my carpet and decided to give this tool from Walverdant a try. Once assembled, I didn't encounter any issues with it sliding apart during use, although there was some noticeable flex when it was fully extended. Shortening the tool reduced the flex significantly. Unfortunately, it fell short in extracting much fur from my carpet. The process also turned into quite a workout for me.The tool can be used by pulling it towards you in either direction, but the staged pictures on the product page are misleading as they don't reflect its actual performance. In my experience, the tool barely removed any fur. To confirm, I went over the same area with my shredding tool afterward, and it picked up a significant amount of fur. Overall, I’m disappointed in the effectiveness of this product.

We have a very hairy dog and we have hair all over the place as a regular thing. This comes in ideal and is very easy to use on the rug and even our love seat where he loves to go. It is very easy to assemble and the size is very handy for use to use. It is built nicely and is a great value for the money. It works so well that we do not have to go over the area with the vacuum when we are done. It is very easy to remove the hair from it when we are done.We highly recommend this if you have a dog that seems to lounge around and get his kicks out of rolling over and leaving residue of hair when he or she is done!

I call this tool my pet hair rake because when I use it I'm reminded of raking leaves. It comes disassembled and is fairly easy to put together because the pieces are numbered. One extra piece serves as an extension, so the length of the handle can be modified. And the size of the blade is just right and makes for easy storage.Once you begin "raking" the hair pickup is amazing. After cleaning my area rug with this tool, the rug looks brighter and I have the surface hair in an easy pile to pick up. It is fine to pull over tightly knitted rugs but may grab on deeper pile. Although it picks up surface hair as advertised, don't expect it to deep clean. You'll need a vacuum to make the job complete.
