I ordered this accessory as it seems to offer a more powerful clean than an upright carpet shampooer. I also was interested in its ability to clean tile floors and manage the grout. It does clean the tile ok but not really better than an upright carpet machine. I also bought the prolux ctx. I’m not used to using a canister machine but this is really a lot of cords, hoses wheels and more cords to manage all at once. It’s kind of a project to use.My main issue is that the pigtail power cord is like 2 feet shorter than the hose, a totally absurd design flaw. Pull on the hose just a little and the cord pulls out of the machine and no more power to the head. There’s a cord from the device to the handle which is fine but there is another cord from the handle to the machine base and this is too short. You cannot use the electric wired hose for wet so there is an extra non electric hose with the machine. You have to use an external separate pigtail electric cord to power the shampooer and that’s what is too short. The cord came in the box with the shampooer and I don’t see another one in there.I’m looking for an extra extension cord and it looks to be the same cord that is used in household vacuum systems so one might exist but haven’t found it yet.
