Only works in cut pile mode, even as default. Have reached out to seller for more direction on how to correct this issue, with no response. I purchased the upgraded gun so that I wouldn’t have to physically have to change out the needle in order to change back and forth from cut pile and loop pile fashion.

We were very disappointed in this tufting gun. We have been so excited to start our tufting journey. Unfortunately, this is not the gun to buy. The gun rips through the fabric instead of piercing through it. We attempted to adjust the pile height and referred to the "manual". The manual is a pamphlet that has links to you tube help/tutorial videos. The link goes to a video to a totally different brand and model of tufting gun. Which was no help at all. So, now we are returning it and will buy a different one.
