Bought to use by my Keurig on my counter top for the used pods. Perfect fit! Only downside is the recommended plastic bags I purchased did not fit! The are very thin and won't stretch without tearing! I have found that my puppy poop bags are a better fit and works great!

Perfect size for my coffee station at home. Easily holds 14 or more K cup style coffee pods. I give it a shake when it seems to be getting full and I can easily fit in more.

I was under the impression this was a push top lid. I guess because I included that in my search and the other trash bins I looked at had all been push tops. The good thing is that this item was fairly cheap and doesn’t have a swing door lid. It will work for disposal of coffee grounds as you lift the lid and it seems to stay up until you put it down so at least it will serve its purpose.Doesn’t look too nice on the counter but it’s a trash bin so what was I expecting I guess. I like that it’s matte and not glossy but it looks more faded matte grey than a true matte black. I may end up finding a replacement that looks a bit better and is a push top. Just don’t know what I will use this one for if I do find a replacement? Maybe laundry trash and lint???

Putting wet stuff into the garbage often causes leaks. I use this canister to separate the usual culprits, like coffee grounds, eggs shells, etc, that wet the garbage and the garbage bag. You could use little plastic bags, but I put used 32 oz yogurt containers in there with the lid on the bottom. They fit perfectly. When full, I put the lid on the yogurt container and toss it in the regular garbage. This item is handy, useful, and prevents the coffee stains I've moaned about for years.
