Flip 6 fits perfectly. Not tight (even without the satin lining it would go in & out easily) but not loose either. Room for cord at the top. Earpod case fits in the lid's mesh pocket.I wanted a stash case (not in-use) with full protection and foam that was covered with fabric - not touching the speaker. Some new kinds of foam are more susceptible to heat and humidity and degrade too fast. The clamshell cases are cute, especially if you happen to get one with a color that truly matches the speaker. But I wanted to minimize stress points and wasn't keen on having a stitched "hinge" and a long zipper that went around corners (and that I'd have to maybe fiddle with). Also, I wanted to avoid having to decide whether to zip it closed every time I took the speaker out (doubling the wear on it) or leave it open (making the hinge vulnerable if it got moved around a lot or ended up in unlikely places). This seems overly picky, but I just saw this case as having the longest life span. Also, the zippers were a little cock-eyed on some of the clamshell cases (which would drive me crazy), and others didn't provide photos that would show it.The carabiner that comes with it is pretty standard - not the rated kind, but not the cheapest either. The strap is well stitched onto a swivel hook that MAY have some metal in it. The loop is stitched into the seam on the lid. It's not meant for rough use, but after all, it's for a speaker.
