Large squares, easy to write grades in. 10-week grading periods, so ideal for college/university on quarter system (I am on the semester system, so it takes 2 sets of pages for each term and section). "Quick grade" chart at front, so it is easy for me to get percentages quickly.

I homeschool and i thought this would work for my grade keeping. It didnt. Definitely for a classroom setting only.

Have used it for years and still love it. Has everything at a glances and boxes are large enough to not have to minimize numbers.

This is a great book, don't get me wrong. This just doesn't really work for me. It's not what I had in mind for homeschooling use. I suppose if you had a large class of kids to teach, this would be really useful.

The last teacher supply store in my area closed down, and I was desperate for a record book that I liked. (I do a lot online, but for some reason, still like my grades written in a book for now). I'm reeeeelly picky and know exactly what I like in a grade book: simple, neat pages, no red printing, boxes on the slightly bigger side, no dorky "apple" cover, and it must have enough space for up to 35 students (yes, sadly, that is my reality here in California). I did find others I liked, but they only had room for 30 students. This one fit the bill perfectly, and has a handy little percentage grader that I use all the time.

I love the organization and colored lines.Slightly bigger spaces to write grades would be excellent.
