I have a pair of Carson Binoculars and have found them to be a good buy. This spotting scope also seems to be well worth the price. I bought it to see paper targets at 100 yards and it works well for that. I don't give many 5 star ratings. Bang for buck, this may deserve 5 stars.Update. Couldn't make out bullet marks on a 1000 yard steel target reliably with this scope. Purchased a Vortex Viper HD 20x60x80 angled Spotting Scope. Returned the Vortex Viper because I compared the Carson and the Vortex Viper side by side and couldn't see any more detail with the vortex Viper. Now a Vortex Razor is on order.
