Two major problems, right out of the bubble pack. First, there are four total rubber pads which are on the clamps. Two fell off and a third was partly off. Perhaps a better glue is in order?Secondly, one of the honeycomb pieces was damaged, with no signs of any damage to the packaging. It looks like heat damage, as if something hot partially melt some of the forward edges of the honeycomb. This likely means it was damaged before it was packaged, which indicates a failure in quality control.Functionally, they still work. I trimmed up the damaged edges on the honeycomb with a scalpel and super-glued the rubber pads back on. I am rough on equipment, so I considered this an "consumable" product in the first place. Not sure if I will try a second pair once these are defunct or lost.

Ok, it's cheap and not the same quality of the ones that costs you 15 times more.It does however provide the same functionally.Don't expect it to last you for a lifetime

Excellent fit for my SvBONY monocular and Bushnell 8X42 binoculars. Keeps glare down. Uses 2 clips to fasten anti-glare lens to optics.

Works just as advertised, can't tell when they are on when looking through the binoculars and I tried it with friends telling me they don't see the reflection of me looking at them. They are curved so you wont be able to set your binoculars standing up with them on if that's how you store them but I lay them flat now, also the clips are not really strong and they fall off if you hit something or rub against something but I glued them to my binoculars with soft silicone and that solved my problem. I mainly use it to check if there are people in a fishing spot I'm going to and to see if the people there are packing up or will be there for long, I got saltwater on them and just rinsed it and doesn't seem to hurt them.

As a anti-glare help, this product is not the right stuff, (viewing in the general direction of the sun) these ARD's made things worse. The poor performance is due to the walls of the honeycomb being glossy like a mirror and turned binoculars in to a kaleidoscope. I have other ARD's with a very flat black honeycomb and there is a difference. IF you wanted to avoid/reduce reflection giving away your position they may work fine. They did fit on my 10x42mm Leupolds.

For $13 for 2 of these, they can't be beat. I did read the item description that said they fit up to 43mm, but I took a chance that they would fit on my 44mm rifle scopes objective lenses. These are cushioned spring clips. They are NOT super heavy duty, but they are functional. They do fit onto a 44mm objective lens. They could easily be knocked off in the brush, should you have to run thru any. They do what they are supposed to do, tho. I shined a flashlight into the unit, and I got no flashback, so I'd say it's good in sunlight. I also intend to take a small but stout rubber band and put the rubber band over the clamps to help keep the kill flash clamps more snug onto the front of the scope objective lens. I say again, these will come off if scraped or rubbed very hard against something. I do believe the best flash killers are the ones that thread directly inside of the objective lenses that have internal threads. Those options are also a lot more money. So for the money and function, these flash killers get 5 stars for now. If they happen to fall off under heavy recoil (I shoot 308 and 30-06), I will change my rating.

Function is great, no glare or flash from the sun. The clamps could be a little stiffer, They hold on just fine but I have my doubts going through the woods if they get brushed or bumped by a branch they will probably fall off. I would like to see a version of these with maybe a rubberized full ring that would snugly fit over my scope or binoculars. For the little amount of money these cost I think they are great.
