We have a older OMC Cobra I/O with the Ford 2.3L engine. The pump from a marine store was $400 and this was a quarter of that, and it's exactly the same pump. The fittings all fit, it didn't leak, which is important in a marine application, all good and good to go.

I was sent the wrong part at first but weeks later the replacement showed up and worked great...just in time to take my boat out for the winter. "NOT" the parts fault.

Just installed in my 89 four winns with the ford omc 2.3. Seems to work great, the price is even better. The oem part, they wanted around 400 for. Not sure when this was replaced last, but it also was a carter pump. Easy install
