Bought this for my boat. Installed it and first time out started leaking fuel out of the gaskets on the pump body. It was already past the 30 days by the time I took the boat out so it is now unreturnable.

I just completed installing a used rebuilt 3.0l Mercruiser motor and was having problems getting fuel to the carb with the pump that came with the motor. The new used motor I believe is a 1989 and this pump was the direct replacement. It looks like this part crosses to the Sierra 18-7278, which is twice the price on Amazon. So far so good. Carburetor is getting plenty of fuel and revs up smoothly and no leaks.
