I haven't been able to install them. I watched a video of how to install. So I will try it again. It is not easy by no means.

Bought this to restore an old Craftsman band saw. The bottom wheel did not need to be replaces, so was very glad I could buy them one at a time. If I need to replace the bottom one, I can do so at a later time. This product was shipped very quickly and arrived well packaged and ready to go. Quality is top notch!

Works great on my craftsman band saw. Good fit and quality material. Tracks well and has a smooth seam. Look out only one tire is included.

Execellent product, easy to install,I should have bought two when I ordered. I only had to trim a small amount from one edge to have a perfect fit.

I had no real trouble installing this band saw tire on my Jet 12" saw's lower wheel. I did not even soak it in water first, instead I used three clamps and two screw drivers. It did require trimming first so it would fall into the small recess on this Jet saw's wheel but that was no trouble - it can even be a little jagged on the edge. Now it's back to work in the old shop!

First of all, you only get one tire, so unless your bandsaw only has one wheel, you probably need to order two. I don't think the product description is misleading, but apparently some people assume these must come in pairs.I like that I didn't have to fuss with adhesives, and my saw is running much more smoothly than it was with the worn, uneven rubber ones that the saw came with. The down side is that in lieu of adhesives, the band uses a lot of tension to stay in place. The instructions tell you to soak it in hot soapy water (no more than 120 deg F), caution you that the water will be extremely hot and you need to wear gloves. (Really? For 120 degrees?) Putting this warm soapy thing on by myself was like wrestling a giant blue earthworm covered in snot. I got my wife, and with four hands and three attempts, we got it on; the second one was easier. If you have six hands and the strength of 20 men, just stretch it over the wheel and let go like the directions suggest. If you're human, get a second person and have them hold the tire in place over half the wheel, and then use a screw driver to work around remaining perimeter, prying against the wheel to stretch the tire over the edge with one hand while you use the other hand to perform damage control.Anyway, it's a nice product, but the instructions could use some work.
