We used these cross bars on our 2018 Lincoln MKX (bare roof) for a 2,300-mile round trip from Texas to North Carolina. They were exactly what we needed to mount our Thule rooftop carrier.Like others have mentioned, the instructions aren’t the clearest, but with a little patience and trial and error, installation isn’t too difficult. I ended up using the largest clamps provided. Setting everything up took about an hour of measuring, adjusting, and tightening—it was definitely a bit of a workout! But once secured, they felt rock-solid.These cross bars held our rooftop carrier loaded with about 200 lbs of gear, and we drove at 80 mph without any issues. They performed flawlessly and absolutely earned their 5-star rating. Highly recommend! (And yes, you might still see a few bug splatters in the pics! 😂)

They work!! Using on my 2014 VW Tiguan. Used them to strap my Thule on top and drive across the US. No issues other than a whistling sound that would happen when I drive. I covered any open areas with tape and now to issues.Very secure and still being consistently used 4 months later

I spent a long time looking for an affordable set of roof racks to put on my full size truck. Most of the off brand ones are too small. I finally found these and figured I would give them a try. Very glad I did.Obviously there are benefits to the name brand ones but for less than half the price these work great for me!
