This is simply a perfect case for the Passport SSD Drive. It's extremely durable, compact, yet provides plenty of protection for the drive and accommodates the USB connector as well. Highly recommended.

The WD 1TB My Passport SSD is so much smaller than I expected. This case is perfect. Nice size to hold the portable drive and cable securely, and so I don't lose it. And the included carabiner is a nice touch for added convenience.

This is the second case of similar design that I have purchased. The first is still going strong. This one is slightly larger, which is very convenient when I need to transport two portable drives rather than one.

Product is fine, but not for a 500gb WD Blue SATA SSD. This case is for an external SSD drive, not internal. I thought 2.5 inches was 2.5 inches for all SSDs. Apparently not... So I've wasted this purchase. The image says the case is 3.25 inches. It sure is (I measured it)... and the inside is definitely not that big. The case will literally hold 2.5 inches. Do not trust the fact that your internal drive explicitly says 2.5" on the back. Measure whatever you plan to put in the case.

The WD SSD is very small and slim, but the case is far larger than it needs to be. What starts with a drive that's slim enough to slip in a pocket ends up with a case that's far too big. The case (internal dimensions) is 15mm longer and 5mm wider than the drive and deep enough to slip in a second drive.I'm sure it will protect the drive, but it's not really what I wanted.
