This case fits very well. It is a tight fit and looks to offer an impressive amount of drop protection. I am not going to test this for review with a speaker this expensive but you can tell just from looking at it that it will do the job.The buttons are still responsive with the case on it and the "flap" that covers the charging port closes tightly and will keep dirt and water from light rain out of it. Thus makes it splash proof, not waterproof, lol.The carry handle is nice but it very flimsy and bends with the weight of the speaker. I wouldn't trust using the handle to attach the speaker to anything because you are trusting the strength of an 1/8 of silicone rubber to secure it.The shoulder strap is sturdy and connects well. The clips feel solid and metal, not cheap and plastiky. Again, trusting the shoulder strap to secure it to something has the same weak point as the carry handle, but the silicone is considerably thicker where the carabiner attaches so I would feel more confident with it than the carry handle.

I like that it has a USB tab to protect the open USB port in the player. If I were to take to the beach I would feel safer with this feature. This is also heavier than a similiar case I tried; but in spite of that I liked the ribbing inside the case. Think it would really cushion a fall a lot better than just a lighter weight, thinner skin type of case. It looks great with the black player and everything including the buttons work as they should. Good insurance to help protect a Bose music player/speaker. High quality for the money.

This case fits my speaker well. It was easy to install. I like that the speaker can still play in this case, unlike the soft side case I already have.
