Decent little case. People recommend it for a Shure SM7B case and that is not a good idea. Definitely does not fit how it should.

I searched for a case for a shure Sm7b and this came up. The mic fits, but it's too small really. The plastic is thin, so the mic being wider pushes it out a bit. This will work for transportation of the mic, but I won't keep it in the case

This item was perfect for what I intended it to be used for. It will fit two, possibly three, Ocarina's comfortably. My 12 year old needed a case for his Ocarina hobby so his instrument can stay safe and this case is perfect! My husband just cut out some of the foam so the Ocarina could fit in snuggly and comfortably. The price was on par for this need and we are happy with our purchase.

Case looks nice. Foam is easy to customize. Very good portability. The case could stand to be a little more heavy duty, hence the four stars instead of five, but at this price point, a person can't complain too much.

Smaller than I thought, but just about big enough for what I wanted. The foam cells aren't that hard to dig out, just wiggle your finger in there and you'll separate them. Remember that you only got one shot if you want a solid block, which I botched in the battery area as you might be able to tell from the picture of my newly customized mini quadcopter case, so measure twice, cut once. I particularly like the egg carton lid lining and the slide locks. The foam seems to be a good density, but the cuts in it and the lack of it being bonded to the floor make thin walls floppy. Not that big a deal though. The case itself is made of thick, non-brittle plastic. Time will tell if the foam and hinges will hold up to usage.

I guess if you need a case for an actual microphone or two then this would be perfect. Please don't make the mistake that I made and order this thinking it is big enough to accommodate a mic, wireless unit, cable and power adapter. It will not. Check the dimensions, it is tiny. I got in a hurry and didn't read the descrition and just looked at the photo. So it is my own fault. I just want to help someone else out who is considering this case.

I purchased this to house a . It's a tight fit with the receiver, mic and power supply, but it works. I intend to order another to house some DI boxes and a few smaller electronics components. The foam is a bit of a chore to form fit because it is not completely cut. I see that as a plus since pieces will not get pulled out and lost, but be prepared to spend some time with a sharp, long blade. A box cutter is perfect.Protection is excellent. There is the egg crate layer on the lid that also holds smaller objects in place. It provides a lot of protection against shock from dropping. The bottom compartment has a plain floor layer of foam and a middle layer that you can cut out.Note that the middle layer is 2 7/8 inches thick, and when combined with the top egg crate foam you should be able to accommodate items up to 3 to 3.25 inches thick.
