Made my life so much easier in the snow !When I feed under loading sheds I just climb through the cable fence. Hard to balance loose hay on the cable. Lots of waste. This made it so much easier and efficient. Will probably buy another just to have 2 !

It holds two or three flakes of hay pretty easily. With winter, I have been feeding four flakes, so I have not been using it but my son still does. It has held up well.

This was hard to find !! This makes hay feeding so much cleaner, especially when hay is “fluffy” and hard to get to the feeders before it falls apart!! Highly recommend

The one and only thing I liked about this hay handler was that I was able to find something to replace the one I have had for close to 20 years. My old one is worn out. The new one is cheaply made. The material used to hold the hay is a thinner, lighter weight nylon type materia. The binding around edges will not hold up for more than a year. The short little handles are not convenient and I do not find the velcro at the top corners useful at all; in fact a nuisance. Hay and debris/dirt will soon cover the velcro, anyway. What to do when I cannot find anything like my old one that had long handles to loop over your shoulder, was made of a strong heavier slightly water repellent fabric, wood dowels to hold it flat and taunt at top.Oh well, I will keep looking. Something may turn up eventually,

OMG. Just got this today. Have two horses up in the turnout and two in pens. Don't want to use wheelbarrow for just two flakes. This thing was so easy to use! I just opened it up, laid two flakes on it, and closed it up. So easy to carry with one hand by the sturdy handles. Showed it to my neighbor and he ordered it immediately! :-) Looking forward to using it regularly. And taking it camping. It will be nice not to scratch up my forearms or get spider bites on my arms from the hay.

I love this carrier, Easy to load, easy to weigh hay and easy to carry. Well worth the cost. I would rather feed loose hay than bagging it. I can accurately weigh the hay for each of 4 horses of different sizes. I feed according to how much I want them to weigh and the Hay Handler makes it easy. It holds 12 lbs of baled (large round) brome with room for a bit more. I can fill 1/2 way for 6# and feed twice daily for my 1000 lb. Arabian. It is very easy to carry and does not snag clothing.

This year's hay supply (orchard grass) does not flake easily at all. So, for getting 8 flakes out to our horses twice a day without dropping it all over the place, this handler contains the hay and really works well. Not only can I bring the hay flakes, contained as shown in the product photo, I can scoop up loose hay and put it inside the handler as well. When this one wears out (?? we'll see how long this one lasts, but so far OK), I'll buy another.
