I was looking for something with a little UV protection for a white skinned mule, and stumbled upon this product. Cashel is the ONLY company that I have found that offers an eared flymask with long nose and UV protection... at least without breaking the bank.My mule had pretty average sized ears, so this mask's ears were a *little* too long, but only by about an inch and a half, maybe 2 inches. Not nearly enough to bother my mule, once she was accustomed to something being *on* her ears. She found it easy to navigate the pasture in, and showed no hesitation when she walked, so I can only assume that it was easy for her to see through. The closure straps velcroed over themselves so that it would take two hands to undo them, which meant that she couldn't get it off on a post very easily. And the mesh of the mask was quite robust and held shape to keep the material off of her eyes very well.If you have a Long Ear that needs a little extra protection? You will NOT be disappointed with this flymask.

The ears are long enuf to fit the mules. The nose piece adds protection from the nasty flies.

My Molly has herself a bit of a fly allergy. This lets me protect both her nose and those criminally adorable mule ears.

Obama, our guard donkey goes through one of these a year with a little mending here and there. He simply loves it, which amazes us. One side of his face and nose is albino, so, he needs the protection. Good quality and good price. Cashel - please offer eyes and faces on them for an additional charge! Cannot imagine the use of a different company. Great product.

I use them for both my horse & mule. It is great that they make a mule size fly mask! They hold up well to halter tag in the pasture!

My donkey "Odie" is very grateful to have a fly mask that covers his very soft and tender nose. Without the mask he is covered in bites but with mask no bites. He doesn't even have a problem wearing it.
