I’ve never used a seat pad but I got a saddle that is so uncomfortable for long rides. It took a bit to get used to as it did change the seat a little bit, but now it feels natural. It make a huge difference in comfort, glad I gave it a try.

The standard Cashel tush cushion fits my 16" saddle well and the foam is very comfortable. The cushion is easy to adjust with a back strap and front horn holder elastic that keeps it positioned perfectly. I recommend this product highly.

I love the quality and the way this pad feels when riding. The size I selected is the right thinkness for me. I did not want anything bulky. This pad was easy to install on the saddle and it stays nicely in place.

After losing a bunch of weight, purchasing a new saddle I thought had enough cushion, I found my pelvic bones would get sore after even short rides. I talked to some fellow horseback riders and several recommended this product. It arrived quickly and without issue. I put it on my saddle and went Ranch Sorting, spending about 4 hours in the saddle and never once got sore or felt uncomfortable. Then I went to a Gaming show the next day and spent almost 8 hours in the saddle and was raving the benefits of the cushion. All my fellow riders were extremely jealous and wanted to order one too. This really is the best thing I have purchased as far as my tack goes. I use it on a Billy Cook 15" All Around saddle and it is a blessing. I am not sure I have ever been this comfortable in my saddle. I can't wait to take it out on a trail ride, I think I'll be the only one not squirming in my seat by the time we get done =) I would recommend this product to anyone looking for more cushion in their saddle seat, and even to those who may not feel the need. It did not make my seat any smaller and I didn't feel like I sitting to high in the seat. It is perfect =)

Bought this brand new Crates Trail Saddle and loved it, because I finally found a saddle that fit my horse! Well, then I used it on a trail ride and OMG - thought I was going to die. My butt hurt so badly and my back did too. I bought several cushions, all sizes and not one of them helped. I think this is a good cushion, just the saddle fit is so terrible for me that nothing is going to help.

Due to arthritis in my hip I was going to have to stop riding. This seat has helped me be able to keep doing what I love. It is well made, can hardly be seen when the rider is in the saddle, and keeps the joint off of the saddle seat which protects it. It stays in place very nicely. I would recommend it to anyone with an injury or riding long distance for comfort. Well worth the price!

I've had a tush cush for many years, using it for 25 mile endurance competition and conditioning. It works well on both english and western saddles. My mistake was taking it with me to my sister's in Montana for a two week wilderness camping trip with her husband horses, gear and pack horses. They teased me for using it, until about the 4th day, nearly 60 miles in, when it I could have sold it for $100. We settled for rock paper scissors 2x a day. When we got back, I ordered one for my sister, and then gave my brother-in-law one for Christmas. It arrived fast and was a big hit with my back country, elk hunting, bow shooting, tough guy brother-in law. It even retains it's cushiness in below freezing temperatures.
